This simple customization allows users to see more information about a Staff member by hovering over their name on the left side of the Staff Calendar. Only a System Administrator User will be able to perform this customization.
In this example, the client would like to see the Number of Appointments each person can run each day, or Staff Capacity, and the Products the Rep is Best at Selling. However, you may have different information about your Sales and Production Staff that you'd like to see on the Calendar.
Step 1: Create Custom Fields on the Staff object for Staff Capacity and Best at Selling (multi-select Picklist matching Product Categories).
Step 2: Add the new Fields to the 'Staff - Information' field Set. Run First Time Setup.
Step 3: Add your new custom fields to the Mini-page layout for the Staff object.
Go to the Staff member record and enter the appropriate information into the new Custom Fields:
Next, go to the Staff Calendar, hover over any Staff member on the left side of the calendar. Your new custom fields should be visible.
