Short Hyper Link and verbiage update for Payment Link Email

The verbiage in Hosted Payments Link Email Template has been updated along with a shorted hyperlink has been added to the email template.

Hosted Payment Links New texting functionality

• If the Company wishes to use the new texting feature for Hosted Payments, the “Send Text and/or email for Online Payment” flow should be activated. **Please ensure to inactivate the current email flow “Send Email for Online Payment”.
• Three new fields have been added to the Sale object:
  • Send Email with Payment Link (checkbox) – when the user checks the “Send Email” field it’s updated to true or false.
  • Send Text with Payment Link (checkbox) – when the user checks the “Send Text” field its update with true or false.
  • Payment Link Phone (Phone) – field will be updated with the phone number selected in the drop-down list.
•  New enhanced Hosted Payment modal – After introducing the new checkboxes for payment link notification, new conditions were applied to enable or disable the checkboxes and “Send Payment Link” button.
  • Send Email:
    • Will be enabled only if the Prospect’s email (Prospect.Email__c) is populated.
    • If the Prospect’s email (Prospect.Email__c) is blank, a message will be displayed: “Email can’t be sent, please check the Prospect’s email address: i360__Prospect_Email__c”.
  • Send Text:
    • Will be enabled if there is at least one active Text Message Setting.
      • If this condition is not met, a message will be displayed, “Contact your account executive for Texting options.”
    • A prospect has at least one valid phone number.
      • If this condition is not met, a message will be displayed, “Text message can’t be sent, please check Prospect’s phone”.
    • Send payment Link Button:
      • Will be enabled only if there is at least one option (Send Text or Send Email) is enabled and selected.

Hosted Payment modal “Spinner”

A new “spinner” named “Generating Payment Link” has been created. When the payment link is being created, the “Send Payment Link” and “Cancel” buttons will be hidden. Once the payment link has been generated and sent to the customer, the spinner will be hidden and displayed again.

Post-install steps:

• On the Sale Object, Set Field-Level Security for the following fields: (Mark all as Visible (all profiles except Minimum Access - Salesforce) > Save)
  • Send Text with Payment Link
  • Send Email with Payment Link
  • Payment Link Phone
• To enable the new texting feature for Hosted Payments
  • Activate the flow called “Send Text and/or email for Online Payment”
  • Inactivate the flow called "Send Email for Online Payment"
