Save & Add Project
This button is also part of the base improveit 360 Professional package and impacts changes to the Sale, changes to Sale Items and upon Save navigates the User to the Project creation screen.
Save and Calculate
The Save and Calculate button is part of improveit 360’s Enterprise package and impacts changes to Sale fields (such as Net On or Final On date) and impacts changes to Commission fields (such as Commission Rule and Commission Basis). Note: The Save and Calculate button does not impact any changes to the Sale Item records related to that Sale.
Using Save and Calculate does not impact any changes to the Sale Item records shown here on the Sale page:
When making changes to the Sale Item records, be sure to scroll up to the top, or down to the bottom to use the Save (1) button.
NOTE: Users of improveit 360 Professional edition will not have the Save and Calculate button or the Commission Details section on the Sale page:
There are typically three scenarios when editing a Sale record:
1: We need to make a change to Sale Items which will change the Sold Price but does not impact the Commission Basis calculation.
A: Use the Save button to change Sale Items and change the Sold Price.
2: We need to change the Sold Price and the Commission Basis.
A: Use the Save button to change Sale Items and the Sold Price. Then, click Edit on the Sale, change the Commission Basis and click Save and Calculate to adjust the calculated Commission amount.
3. There is no change to the Sold Price but we are entering a Net On date, Final On date or Canceled Date, in order to impact a Commission record.
A: Use the Save and Calculate button to re-calculate the Commission amount and update the Commission's Ready to Pay field.
