i360 Smarty Address Autocomplete/Suggestions
Autocomplete/Suggestions is a tool that can be utilized when a user is entering addresses into the i360 system.
With this feature turned on, as the user begins to type an address into the system, a popup near the address field will begin to suggest addresses that match the user's entry.
Ex: (i360 Smarty Address Autocomplete/Suggestions) User begins to type an address.
Once the user clicks on the desired address, the Address, Zip/Postal Code, City, State, Latitude/Longitude, and County will be populated automatically.
Note: This is a direct replacement for the Zip Code Lookup feature that many users are accustomed to. You can only have one service enabled at a time, choosing between Zip Code Lookup or Smarty Address Autocomplete/Suggestions.
With the Zip Code Lookup feature, users enter a zip code, and the suggestions will only return city & county automatically.
Ex: (Zip Code Lookup) User is entering an address for a prospect.
How do Zip/Postal Codes determine City/State/County?
(For U.S. based organizations)
When these functions are active in i360, the city, state, and county will automatically populate on the Prospect and Appointment records when an address is selected.
This information is obtained from the USPS database and will show the recommended city name and information per zip/postal code. There may be other names recognized for the zip/postal code, but the system will ONLY pull in the Recommended City Name according to USPS.
