This release from improveit360 includes the Proximity Search Export Feature and a bug fix.
With the limitations in Salesforce's out-of-the-box Report feature, we have deprecated the “Go to Report” functionality on the Proximity Search Page, due to inconsistencies between its results and the Proximity Search data table results. To address this, we are introducing a new “Export” feature, allowing users to export data table results directly to an Excel file.
How to use the Export feature?
- Navigate to the Proximity Search Page.
- Select your desired criteria.
- Click on the "Search" button to initiate the search.
After selecting your desired criteria and conducting a search on the Proximity Search Page, the results matching the criteria will be displayed on the data table. Additionally, you will find a button labeled "Export" available. This button replaces the previous "Go to Report" functionality, allowing you to export the results directly to excel file
Upon clicking the "Export" button, an Excel file will be automatically downloaded. The name of this Excel file will include the respective object name and the date range of the data being exported.
Upon opening the downloaded Excel file, you will find that the data table results from the Proximity Search Page have been successfully exported and are displayed within the Excel file.
Bug fix - When the Marketing opportunity object is Selected results displayed in the data table accurately match the criteria selected, including the specified "Type" picklist value. (Even when not changing the "Type" picklist default value)
