The Salesforce Instance represents the physical server hosting your company's improveit 360 system. All improveit 360 systems are hosted on a Salesforce Instance. Salesforce hosts many customers on a single Instance and these customer's systems can effectively co-exist. This server sharing method is called "multi-tenancy".
Occasionally, Salesforce will recognize that certain customers need to be migrated to another Instance, sometimes for performance reasons. When customers on one instance are moved to another, Salesforce refers to that migration as an "Instance Refresh."

- Department Dashboard Errors
- Smarty Streets Failure
- Embedded Image Errors (you may have custom Image Fields displayed on the Prospect page, or the Staff Calendar that will need to be re-linked as their permanent URL is changed during an Instance Refresh)
Does improveit 360 know when this might happen?
No. Salesforce does not notify improveit 360 when they plan to perform an Instance Refresh for any improveit 360 customer, no matter the size of the Org.
Permanent Resolution: Enable the native Saleforce feature, "My Domain" so that your system URL will not change. Implementing My Domain will prevent the above listed Potential Risks, regardless of how many times Salesforce performs and Instance Refresh on your system.
Important Note: that for Redirect URLs we must replace domains with our standard visualforce names for proper redirection. If you are a customer enabling "My Domain" do not use 'i360' or 'Supportworks' in your domain!
It is recommended that customers use their own company name.
