The Search and Create tool is your main search tool in improveit 360. Search your database by first names, last names, addresses or all information.
If a User does not see the Search and Create Tool when the sidebar menu is expanded (Alt + S), the User may need to have a Permission Set Assignment added to their User record.
Navigate to Setup
Use the Quick Find and search for "Users"
Under the Manage Users Menu, click on Users
Choose the Active Users list view:
You can click the Column Header for Username to sort Usernames Ascending or Descending
Click on the person's Username who is experiencing an issue with Search and Create
Scroll down to Permission Set Assignments and click Edit Assignments
Choose the Minimum Access Permission Set and move it to the Selected Column:
Click Save
If this does not resolve the issue the User is experiencing, the Profile may also need Apex Class Access.
From the User Menu, you can easily see the Profile for each User, click on their Profile
Hover over the Enable Apex Class Access related list and click Edit 
Next, select ALL the Available Apex Classes from the column on the left, and move them ALL to the Enabled Apex Classes column on the right:
Click Save
Completing both these setup steps for the User and User Profile will insure all Users have access to the Search and Create tool.
