In order to better troubleshoot the Home Depot integration, you will need to see the Fields being populated by incoming Home Depot data. The Prospect object has Home Depot specific fields (beginning with "HD"), add these fields to the Prospect Page Layout to be able to use those fields in a List View.
On the Prospects tab, click Create New View
Name the View: "All HD Prospects"
In Step 2: Set the Field Filter to HD Order Number 'not equal to' and leave the Value blank.
In Step 3: Pull in all the HD fields so you can see additional details about the Home Depot lead within your Prospect List View.
In Step 4: Set the Visibility for the List.
Save when finished.
If you have duplicate Prospects created from Home Depot, check the HD Order Number field on both records. If the HD Order Numbers are different, this means the person is in the Home Depot system twice and both leads are still in a Status that qualifies it to come into improveit 360. In the example below, Home Depot sent over duplicate information for three different Prospects.
How does the integration pull leads?
- An Hourly Batch runs and calls Home Depot to check for new Leads
- If any new Leads are found in Home Depot with the status of “Unqualified, SP Action Required” or “Qualified, Appt. Not Set,” the lead will be converted to a Prospect in i360.
You may want to discuss with Home Depot how the Status is updated and if you are able to see the Status of the Lead within the Home Depot system.
How to see the entire Web Request file
It may be helpful to see the entire payload coming from Home Depot. This data is captured on the Web Request object. Each Web Request record represents one query of the Home Depot database and will return several leads and their related data, including Status. To see the Web Request which contained a specific Prospects information, in the Global Search (which may be at the top of the page, or under the Search and Create tool in the left-hand utility bar), search the Prospect's Phone number and be sure to Search All records.
Click on the Web Request record. The Phone number is located within the text string in the Web Request. Note: the Web Request will include more than one Prospect's data.
Use Ctrl+F to search the text string for the Prospect's Phone number within the string. After the Phone number, look for the "SFIWorkflowOnlyStatus" for that record within the string. The Status will tell you why this lead qualified for the query and included in this Web Request. Note the Status of the lead file.
Remember: Leads are found in Home Depot with the status of “Unqualified, SP Action Required” or “Qualified, Appt. Not Set,” will be converted to a Prospect in i360.
