What happens if we find a Prospect whose Next Annual Maintenance Date is outdated (more than 90 Days in the past or doesn't match the most recent Service Appointment Date). There is a way to reset the date to the following year using the current Next Annual Maintenance date.
Pay close attention to which checkbox to use, there are two named very similarly. Also be sure you uncheck the checkbox after the date changes, so that the Prospect record is in the appropriate state to be updated automatically the following year, or when a Service Appointment is scheduled.
There are two checkboxes on the Prospect:
- Reset Next Annual Maintenance Date
- NAMD Reset
Both checkboxes should be False to start out, in order for the Next Annual Maintenance Date change automation to work as designed.
To reset the Next Annual Maintenance Date using the current Next Annual Maintenance Date, check the Reset Next Annual Maintenance Date checkbox. The Next Annual Maintenance Date will be pushed to one year in the future. Be sure to uncheck the Reset Next Annual Maintenance Date checkbox when finished.
Note: If the Next Annual Maintenance Date is blank but the Service Appointment Date is not blank, the Next Annual Maintenance Date will not be populated by checking either of the checkboxes.
