Looking to mark someone as Do Not Call? Or Opt Out of Email? This Article covers how to indicate the Prospect's approved communication methods from the Prospect page. We'll also cover using TCPA from the Call Queue to make sure a Prospect does not come back into the Call Queue after telling your staff "take me off your list."
Prospect Page: Marketing Restrictions
In edit mode on the Prospect page, locate the Marketing Restrictions section. This section records the forms of communication that can be used to contact this Prospect and if the Prospect is qualified to be marketed to.
TCPA - Telephone Consumer Protection Act
This checkbox should be used when a Prospect says "take me off your list." If a Prospect is a part of a federal do not call list OR has requested not to be contacted by phone, checking the TCPA check box will ensure that you do not call and solicit your services via phone.
Opt Out Email
Use this field when the Prospect has requested to be removed from your email list, or replied with "Unsubscribe."
Opt Out Mail
Use this field when the Prospect has requested not to receive any physical mail from your company.
Wrong Number
All numbers on file have been attempted but were disconnected or told "no one here by that name." This checkbox also ensures the Prospect will not be called from the Call Queue.
Not Qualified Reason(s)
If the Prospect is a renter, the information you received was incorrect or you do not want to market to them, select a reason and move it over to the chosen section and click save. This will restrict any Marketing Opportunity from being created for this Prospect and a large red message will appear in the 'Open Items' section stating that the Prospect has been flagged as not qualified. This ensures this Prospect will not be called from the Call Queue.
Restriction Comments
Use this text box to provide more information on why this Prospect is being flagged as not qualified. Make sure to add as much detail as possible. You will be able to report on these results later.
Call Queue Dispositions
Next, let's review the Call Queue Dispositions which will mark a Campaign Member as Completed and permanently remove the Prospect from the Call Queue.
A Disposition of Not Qualified, Wrong Number or TCPA from within the Call Queue sets the corresponding field on the Prospect record.
If you click TCPA from the Call Queue, the Prospect's TCPA checkbox is checked. If you click Wrong Number, the Wrong Number checkbox is checked on the Prospect's Marketing Restrictions. If you select Not Qualified and select a Not Qualified Reason, that will also impact the Prospect's Marketing Restrictions.
Click Edit on the Prospect page to see their detailed Marketing Restrictions. A Prospect will not qualify for the Call Queue if...
- They have been marked as Not Qualified OR,
- The TCPA checkbox is True OR,
- The Wrong Number checkbox is True
