In this Article we will cover how to locate specific HTML coded Email Templates within your system and how to update Hyperlinks within HTML.
USE CASE: Supportworks recently changed their video host provider. Embedded video links within Email Templates will need to be changed in improveit 360. This ensures that when a consumer receives the email, the Hyperlink will take them to a working website and not a broken link.
NOTE: New Links provided by Supportworks are as follows:
- IS - Payment Options: https://vimeo.com/889119342?share=copy
- IS - Shopping Around: https://vimeo.com/889119399?share=copy
- IS - Sorry We Missed You: https://vimeo.com/889119437?share=copy

First, navigate to the Setup menu
Next, use the Quick Find to navigate to "My Templates"
Choose a Folder from the dropdown. In this example, most of the emails we need to Edit are in the Templates-Appointment folder.
Next, click on the Name of the Email Template you need to edit.
Click the Edit HTML Version button
Within the body text locate the broken Hyperlink.
Note: if you know a portion of the hyperlink you can use Control +F as a hot key to Find a portion of the text. In this example, we knew the old video host was wistia so I did a quick Find and located two (2) instances where the text "wistia" appears in the HTML.
Highlight the entire Hyperlink, delete it, and replace it with your new correct Hyperlink.
Be sure to replace all broken Hyperlinks in the email, then click Save.
Replacing Product-specific Video Hyperlinks
This functionality is only available within the Supportworks package from improveit 360.
On the front-end of improveit 360, navigate to the All Tabs page (+).
Click on the Email Content Tab
Choose the All list view and click Go
If your List View is displaying the Appointment Video Link field, you will be able to quickly see which Product Categories have a video link that is still from the Old Video host (Wistia in this example) and those links will need to be replaced with current Hyperlinks from the new video provider (Vimeo in this example).
Click on Edit next to the Email Content record which needs to be edited.
Scroll down to the Appointment Video Link field, and delete the hyperlink currently in the field, and paste in the correct Hyperlink.
Then Save the changes.
You will need to repeat this step for all Product Categories/Email Content records.
When finished, all the Hyperlinks should point to the Vimeo domain and none of them should point to Wistia.
