The Appointment Duration (in half-Hour increments) can be defaulted if you know your Sales Appointments will typically take a specific amount of time.
From the All Tabs (+) Page, click on the Settings Tab
Click on the Advanced Tab
In the Appointments section, the first setting is the Default Appointment Duration picklist
Be sure to click the big blue Save button at the top of the page when you've finished making changes to these settings.
