Changing the Source: Existing Database to a different Source can only be done by the System Administrator User.
When a Sale is marked as "Final" improveit 360's re-marketing feature creates a New Marketing Opportunity and a New Lead Source record for all existing customers. Check out the improveit 360 Process Flow chart to see a diagram of this process.
Out of the box, improveit 360 will create the new Lead Source record with a Marketing Source Name of "Existing Database". This Source Name excludes recurring customers from the out-of-the-box Lead Source Performance* Report and the Source Cost Performance* Reports. This insures that your recurring customer's inquiries are not linked to current Marketing efforts and Marketing Source Costs.
*NOTE: Changing the Source Name of Existing Database to a different Source Name will affect these Reports.
Each System Administrator can change the Source that new Lead Sources are attributed to for all recurring customers. This Setting will allow you to choose an existing Source as the Source for all new Lead Sources from recurring customers. improveit 360 Sources may include marketing Sources created during Data Conversion. Go to the Sources Tab first, and be sure the Source you'd like to use has already been created.
In this Example: we loaded a Source called "Previous Customer" during Data Conversion. We'd like all Lead Sources for recurring customers to be attributed to the "Previous Customer" Source.
Navigate to the + (All Tabs page) >
Choose the Settings tab
Go to the Advanced Tab
Scroll down to Sources section, where you'll see the current Existing Database name displayed
In the Existing Database Source Name field, type the Source Name of the desired Source for recurring customer leads.
Click Save
