In improveit 360's Enterprise software package tracking Crew Time is not a standard Out-of-the-Box feature. A custom object can be created in your system to capture Crew Time records. A custom Process is used to auto-generate a Project Cost for the Total Labor Cost when the office staff has Finalized all Crew Time records associated to the Project.
This is a customization, setup as an Advanced Service for a one-time fee of $1,500
NOTE: In the Supportworks software package, see Time Records object. The customization shown in this Article is available only to Enterprise package customers.
NOTE: You cannot create Crew Time Records from the RemodelerGo App or the i360Go app. Your team will need to use the Salesfore Mobile App to log Crew Time Records.
From the Salesforce Mobile App, your Installer will Search for the Project they need to Clock In / Clock Out from:
Simply tap the Name of the Project:
On the Project page, tap the Crew Time Records list:
Tap the New button to create a new Crew Time record:
Enter a Name of the record, and select the Staff member, enter the Start Date/Time and the End Date/Time. Note: the Installer can enter a Start Date/Time, then return to the App later in the day, Edit the record to add their End Date/Time. The Hours worked that day will be auto-calculated.
Base Wages per Hour amount and Overtime Wages per Hour amount will be auto-filled on each Crew Time record from the Staff member's record. Be sure you have entered the Wage amounts for every Staff member who will be clocking in/out and creating their Crew Time records:
Let's look at the Crew Time record created from the Salesforce mobile App, within the improveit 360 desktop application:
Like other record types in improveit 360, Crew Time records can be managed from their own Tab and custom List Views can be created to help manage Crew Time records:
From each Project page, you will see all the Crew Time records related to that Project:
Note: Your staff will enter the total Base Wage Hours and how many Hours should be at the Overtime Wage. (see above record with Overtime Hours)
Your team will need to validate every Crew Time record to insure the dollar amounts are correct, before creating a Project Cost.
Once you have validated all Crew Time records are correct, simply enter the Crew Time Final Date on the Project page.
When the Crew Time Final Date is entered, the system will auto-create a Project Cost and update the Actual Labor Amount field on the Project:
Reports can be run based on the Start Date/Time. Below is an example of Crew Times records created for a given Calendar Week. In addition we are looking at the Total Project Cost as well as the Total Labor Amount for that Project:
