If you're creating or editing a Campaign and setting date criteria, it is important to note, are you querying record using a rolling date range or a specific date.
Click the Calendar Icon at the end of the row to make it a relative date rather than an specific date.
Click the exact same button to switch from a sliding date to a specific one.
Rolling Dates are often more applicable, but trickier to use. When we think about today, today is both 0 days in the past AND 0 days in the future. While yesterday, is 1 day in the past. If we think about tomorrow, it is 1 day in the future. Use this concept to help you reason out your Date Criteria logic and decide what Rolling Date might work best for your Campaigns.
For Example: If you are looking for all Marketing Opportunities that became Due in the Last 30 Days, but not Marketing Opportunities that have not yet become due, you would use a Criteria of:
- Marketing Opportunity: Due Date is 'On or After' 30 Days 'in the past' AND
- Marketing Opportunity: Due Date is 'On or Before' 0 Days 'in the future'
