If you choose to Map to the eLead Object, you will only Map to the field labeled "Vendor Lead ID" if you DO NOT want a New Marketing Opportunity record to be auto-created. When values are entered into the field labeled "Vendor Lead ID", improveit 360 is not prompted to create a new Marketing Opportunity. This could mean that new eLeads converted into Prospects are not called from the Call Queue and no Marketing Opportunity is available to prompt your Staff to contact the newly converted Prospect.
improveit 360 recommends mapping to the External Campaign ID field INSTEAD of the Vendor Lead ID Field. Allowing you to capture the information from the lead provider while taking advantage of the New Marketing Opportunity record that is created by improveit 360 when the Vendor Lead ID field is left blank.
Likewise, when converting eLeads to Lead Sources, if you DO NOT want a New Marketing Opportunity to be created, you can enter data in the "Legacy ID" field on the Lead Source object. You will only want to map data to this field when a Marketing Opportunity should NOT be created.
Mapping data to this field could mean that new eLeads converted into Prospects are not called from the Call Queue and no Marketing Opportunity is available to prompt your Staff to contact the newly converted Prospect.
